The Government of Yucatán, México, under the leadership of Governor Mauricio Vila Dosal, hosted the 13th Annual Meeting of the Governors’ Climate and Forests Task Force (GCF Task Force) in Mérida, Yucatán, México between February 7-10, 2023. This meeting built on the Manaus Action Plan (MAP), which was launched in Amazonas, Brazil in March 2022, and the technical exchange of experiences that took place in San Martin, Peru in October 2022.

The opening ceremony and the high-level segment were in a hybrid modality with participation of invited representatives both in Wuhan and Geneva linked via video.
